10. Mackenzie
Palm trees, sun, clear water - what else is needed for happiness? Only 15 minutes drive from Larnarka is the beach Mackenzie: a very “native” beach for locals, so you can see more Cypriots there than vacationers, which is always nice.

7. Ladies' Mile
Located in Lemesos (Limassol), this 5-km coastal stretch of amazing pristine beaches and shallow water runs along the eastern side of Akrotiri.
It boasts dark gray sand and crystal clear and calm sea water, and the shallowest waters are located in the southern part of the beach, where the dark gray sand becomes golden brown.
The beach got its name from the name of the governor's mare during the British rule, on which he rode along the beach. Today, this area is known for its fresh fish restaurants and traditional Cypriot cuisine.
About 1.5 km from the seashore, you can see the salt lake Akrotiri, which attracts migratory birds, including flocks of bright pink flamingos and herons in the winter months.

1. Nissi
Nissi extends for 500 meters, and the water is clean enough to be awarded the Blue Flag: the highest award in this area.
The beach, stretching along its own bay, got its name from the small island of Nissi (Greek Νησί), located near the coast. The uninhabited island can be easily reached on foot through the shallow water, and its location provides good shelter for the rest of the beach.
In 2005, as a result of archaeological excavations along the western borders of the bay, fire lighting devices were discovered about the age of about 12,000 years, which indicates that the region could be inhabited by the first people on this island.
